Internationally renowned author and Little India resident Allan Stratton tackles some touchy subjects as he plumbs diverse cultures and young characters.
Stratton's new book Borderline (HarperCollins, March 2010) is about a Muslim-American teen, Sami Sabiri, whose family becomes the centre of an international terrorist investigation after Sami's father is caught in a lie.
"It's a story of parent-child conflict and a story of identity, of kids being at an age when they want to fit in with their peers, but also want to find out who they are," said Stratton, also an acclaimed playwright and actor.
