Sudha Murthy, the writer, social worker and chairperson of Infosys Foundation, has added the tag of actor to her name. During shooting for the film Prarthane on March 17, she even made additions to her dialogues.
“Her dialogue sheet in the climax scene was two pages long. It was about the history of the Kannada language. She asked if she could add a few lines to it. It added punch to the original.
She is an author and well-read and knows these things,” said Sadashiva Shenoy, the director of the film. Sudha Murty, author of 35 books, shared screen space with Ananth Nag, who plays a school teacher in the film. She plays herself.
