In a survey, it has been found that the number of books available on the iTunes App Store has crossed the number of games for the first time. There are more than around 27,000 books available as apps whereas the games lag behind with 25,400 this year, followed by the entertainment, education and travel.
Hence it is proved that ‘books are the best friends of man’. With the launch of iPad, Apple’s new tablet reader, in the next month is all set to accelerate the shift to the electronic reading.
A prominent proportion of these apps can be downloaded for free.
