Skylark cherishes journey with 100th issue

Skylark, the leading International popular Poetry Magazine finally arrives with its 100th issue. The magazine from India has been devoted exclusively to the modern poetry for more than 40 years. It has been intended to cut accross the linguistic racial and national barriers and bridge the gap between different countries. The editor of the magazine, Baldev Mirza has done an impeccable job in bringing nations together in a single thread. Born in Malerkotla Punjab in 1932, his skylark established new standards of poetry and talent. Many National and International Poets contributed enormously to this great masterpiece.

New Poets also marked their debuts and gained acclaim. Lots of editions and each one a sparkling gem, Skylark kept conquering hearts of Poets all over.

Today Age has taken over Mr Mirza's body but his love for poetry and his magazine is still fresh and evergreen. Also not to forget that Mr Baldev Mirza is himself Internationally acclaimed famous poet whose published works have made given new standards to the world of Poetry.
