Noted Hindi writer passes away

Noted Hindi writer and politician of Maharashtra Madhukar Rao Chaudhury passed away in his resident at Khirodha village of Jalgaon districton July 7. He was 82.

Mr. Chaudhury was the Speaker of Maharashtra Vidhan Sabha and remained Minister in several Departments. He got 23 awards for his contribution to Hindi literature.

He was the member of Central Hindi Committee. The last rites of the writer will be performed tomorrow at his native village Khirodha.
