Book on Deccan Chargers launched

McDowell’s, the flagship brand of United Spirits, together with Deccan Chargers on Tuesday launched a special edition of Platinum, a book chronicling the success of the Hyderabad team in the second edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
The first book signed by the team fetched Rs 18,000 as against the base price of Rs 10,000 in an auction. In all, 500 books will be sold at the base price. Last week, Kingfisher Premium, the flagship brand from the United Breweries Group, had teamed up with Deccan Chargers to provide the team a taste of the ‘Good Times’ during the IPL season.
