Putting to rest the raging debate as to who should inaugurate the All-India Marathi Literary Meet (Sahitya Sammelan), the organising committee has finally decided to invite renowned poet N D alias Na Dhon Mahanor to do the honours.
The 83rd Sahitya Sammelan will be held in Pune from March 26 to 28.
This was announced at a press conference arranged by the organising committee of the Sammelan on Wednesday, March 17. President of the committee Satish Desai said Mahanor would inaugurate the Sammelan.
“Mahanor will also read some of his poems during the inaugural event,” said Desai.
