After her outstanding singing debut in Kannaththil Muththamittal, Chinmayi K Sripada catapulted to stardom with a slew of hit songs from Enakku 20 Unakku 18, Bheema, Guru and the recent hit Aadhavan.
A classical musician, Odissi dancer, a popular RJ and VJ, dubbing artiste and a passionate writer, Chinmayi became a household name in Tamil Nadu when she was a VJ for Airtel Supersinger. An avid blogger, Chinmayi has another tag that has hitherto been unknown to her fans — that of an entrepreneur.
She is the CEO of Blue Elephant, a company that provides translation services from as many as 75 languages to English. I came up with the idea of starting my own company when I was in second year of college,” says Chinmayi. “I knew how I should go about it and networking with native linguists definitely helped.” Thus, Blue Elephant’ came to life in 2004.
