DPL show gets new venue after fire

DPL A unique exhibition to showcase rare books, newspaper articles and other exhibits drawn from the collection of the last six decades by the Delhi Public Library will be re-launched here next week, after being abruptly called off earlier this month.

The exhibition, meant to showcase DPL's role as an institution for providing information and insights into India's polity, society, and culture, was earlier inaugurated on February 1 at the Lalit Kala Academy ground.

But, it had to be called off on February 2 "due to an unfortunate fire incident at the venue of the exhibition," a statement said. The exhibition will now be on display from February 24 to 28 at the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA).
