Want to play host to your favourite poet or litterateur? If your answer is yes, then hurry up. Your dream is most likely to be fulfilled during the approaching Kannada Sahitya Sammelan. But on one condition — you need to have a house in Gadag town.
Faced with the tough task of providing sufficient and proper (read good) lodging facilities for the guests in this small town, organizers of the Sammelan have decided to go for home stays — but free of cost. Love for literature is what will bind host and guest together.
The district administration apprehensively put forth the idea and made an announcement a couple of days ago. It is now pleasantly surprised with the flood of response.
