Kolkata book fair to have US as theme next year

The Kolkata Book Fair may have drawn its share of flak of this time, that has not prevented it from being gung ho about its plans for next year.

US is to be the theme country next year. The annoucement was made by US Consul-General Beth Payne. No concrete plans for which American authors would be present at the fair were made.

The theme country this year was Mexico.
